Here is a top I made for Imogen out of the Ottobre Magazine turned out a bit bigger than I thought it would be.So I made a pair of matching nappy pants with ruffles on the bum(of course) and turned it into a dress. But havn't got photos of her in the as well nappy pants as well. Fabric is from the November books by Kokka.
These photos are taken with my new camera a Panasonic Lumix in blue. I have to get used to it yet and am still learning how to use all the settings but am loving it so far it is a nice point and shoot.
On another note I am without sewing machine this week and am very surprised at how lost I feel without out it I won't get it back for another week yet. I don't know what I am going to do without it I know why I have taken so long to nother to get it serviced. The bonus is that when I get it back it shall be as good as new so I can't wait.

9 Months
I know I missed 8 mths but it unbelievable how fast time is going and how quickly my baby is growing. Somewhere in between 8 and 9 mths you started to stand by yourself with holding on to anything. Now at 9 mths you have started to take your first steps so far one and a bit but still you are getting their very quickly.
You have developed so much more personality and love to play with your big sister even though sometimes she can be quite cruel to you. You have started talking with bub first followed by mum and just lately you have added a dad here and there.
You are sleeping through the night which is fantastic for mumma as she needs the extra sleep. So life with you and your big sister is great .

Matilda's Quilt
I have been very slack on the blogging as of lately (promise I will try harder). There has been lots going on here at home between crafting and normal day to day activities. I have a lot of things I have made lately that I want to blog about so I thought I would start with my first quilt.
It is made from the Birdie collection by me and my sisters. I am happy with how it turned out and my girl loves it to. She has to take it every were we go.
So I went to add this post a while ago but then my camera started playing up so I left it and have just got it working again so finally here is the quilt.

The week that was!!!
This past week started of as a normal week we went to library and did all the housework. We had lots of crafting going on from finishing hats for myself and a friend to finally finishing Matilda's quilt (will do another post on that). Imogen started to talk her first word is bub daddy was so hoping for dad and mumma is just glad it wasn't dad again.
We then finished the week by flying to Brisbane to say good bye to my best friend and her hubby as the are off to London for 1 yr (so going to miss them even though we don't see each other all the time). So we took Imogen on her first plane ride which she loved. Her big sister on the other hand was not quite as well behaved.

The week that was!!!
This week we had quite a busy week with lots of visitors, a birthday party and a little bit of crafting getting done.
We started our week with Caitlin coming out to stay with us for 3 nights. The girls loved having her here especially Matilda as she played playdough and painted toe nails together. I enjoyed having some one to talk to and help with the girls. She said she might be back next week we can only hope(hint hint if she reads this).
Then on Friday we decided to go into town to do a bit of shopping got a few things including a new sewing chair for my sewing table yay. Had to get a new one and Nick and Tilda played around with it and it wouldn't stay up anymore. It was a bargain to at under $30 from bigW and its pink.
Then we had a 1st birthday party on Friday afternoon so got home just in time to go. It was Immy's first invite to a friends party. She had a great time crawling around with the other little ones. She even had a go on the slip and slide with the bigger kids.
We had a visit from Poppy (my dad) and Gayle this weekend. It was the first time Gayle had seen Imogen and we hadn't seen dad since Matilda birthday in September. They were amazed at how big Immy has gotten and all the things she is doing. It was only a quick visit but it was lovely to see them and spend time with them.
Well that was our busy week I wonder what next week will bring.
